I have a Hummingbird feeder.  Because I live where it gets really warm, I only put in about a cup of food at a time.  Otherwise it goes moldy pretty quick.  I clean and refill it every couple of days.

I recently read a book called The Skies Belong to Us: Love and Terror in the Golden Age of Hijacking by Brendan I. Koerner.   It's about that time frame.  Very interesting and informative.

We found his former owners.  They had no intention of having him fixed or getting him his shots.  He's 5 months old, they decided he wasn't as cute, so they just let him out to roam.  They told us to keep him, they were going to move soon anyway and were just going to leave him.  (I hate people!)

So, anyway, he went to the vet and was tested for feline hiv and leukemia, both were negative so he got all his shots, got flea treatment and dewormed made himself at home on our couch and has been re-christened Rex (Kittysaurus Rex, thanks to my dino obsessed 9 year old).  He will be neutered next week.  My 15 year old grumpy old man cat is less than pleased, but he'll get over it.

That's how my ex and I ended up with cat #2.  My neighbor got a kitten then decided after a couple of hours that he didn't want her so he tossed her out.  We came home to find a terrified fluff ball on our doorstep.

I just finished watching Evil Genius on Netflix.  It's a 4 part documentary about the bank robbery that took place in Erie PA in 2003 where the robber had a bomb strapped around his neck.  I thought it was very interesting and well done.

So everyone else is greedy because they won't give her money? If I didn't know better, I'd say that was one of my sisters.

I can't believe that someone wants to keep the money they worked to earn.  I mean really.  How dare they!  :D :D :D

I'm familiar with a gal who starts a Go Fund Me campaign every time she gets a whim.   So far she's asked for a car, land, money to buy land, a vacation, car repairs, money to pay for an adoption, money to start a business, money for IVF.   It never stops.  Thankfully she's never received a dime.

And now there's a new Go Fund Me campaign for car repairs along with a rant about greedy mother f**kers and f**king b**tards because no one will help.

Apparently a new scam, or more accurately a variation on one. This one was posted today on my community's local website:

They had a older lady screaming in the background saying it was my mom and if I didn't send money over she would have a bullet in her head. First of all, the lady sounded nothing like my mom. Second of all, they called the wrong hard-working yet broke girl. If you guys get a call from a Mexico # ending in 1090 DO NOT answer.

Good luck trying that one with me.  My mom passed away 8 years ago.

She has one half sister and one half brother.  No steps.  All three have the same father, but different mothers.  I think Meghan's mother is the only one in the whole family with any class -- and it shows.

My mistake.  I meant half sisters (I thought there were two), not step sisters.

I love hearing from everyone. And now I'd like to throw another issue into the discussion: Thomas Markle.

At first I thought he had just made a mistake about those photos, and in truth I have no idea why they stirred up the pot, but this guy is now a total embarrassment to himself. Yet he seems to have no concept of it, just a nasty, vindictive, entrenched idea that he needs to be in front of the camera at all times, even by attempting to humiliate his once-beloved daughter. What happened to make him that way, I wonder, or was he always that way? It's unreal.

Her half-sisters are the same way.  Seems like they'll do/say anything for money.

Yeah, you almost want to give people what they ask for just to see what happens. If they work it out, fine. If they don't... wait 3 months and see what they are asking to be financed next!

She may not have gotten a dime, but you’d think by now she would have at least gotten a clue.

Nope, not even an inkling of a clue.  Every single time she posts a campaign and doesn't receive any responses, she complains about how unfair it is that other people get money and she doesn't.

They just dropped season 6 of Orange is the New Black today on Netflix. So that's what I've been watching.

But other than the Nicky Nichols flashbacks, I am not tremendously enjoying this season.

I really didn't like last season.  I'll still watch this one, but it will be the first I haven't binge watched the weekend of it's release.

Is it just me or does the acting/lines seem really bad this season?
