Well because we have a bit more leeway to chat about off color stuff. Deadpool 2 was very funny. I loved all the jokes about DC.

I actually think that Solo was probably one of the Star Wars movies I just plain enjoyed the most, but that's due to personal taste. I'm not a huge SW fan, space and fate of the universe stuff isn't a great hook. However I LOVE a good heist movie, which is basically what this is. I thought it was quite fun, if suuuuuper predictable especially in the first half. Once Lando and the droid showed up the movie got way way better I think.

I loved Star Wars as a kid. I saw Star Wars in the theater 7 times in '77. I never got in to the expanded universe stuff, never cared about it. But I really did enjoy this film. I love heist films too!

I saw it today. I enjoyed it. I liked it a lot more than The Last Jedi for sure.

What's the matter?  Didn't enjoy the milking?

There was so much about Last Jedi I did not like, I don't even know where to start.

Recently finished Cobra Kai. Yes, worth it.  Bought YouTube Red because I suspect a Season 2. Plus, I love not having so many ads.

Caught up with Brooklyn Nine-Nine and am in new episode mode. Just finishing Medium.

I actually have an ad blocker that specifically blocks YT ads. LOL

I wonder if YT is going to blame me for having to shut it down one day.

Work Issues / Re: New NFL Rules re: National Anthem
« on: May 23, 2018, 07:17:48 pm »
Starting this fall, the NFL has a new rule for players/coaches/staff regarding behavior during the playing of the National Anthem.

From the statement released by the NFL, here's the new rule:
Quote
1. All team and league personnel on the field shall stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.

2. The Game Operations Manual will be revised to remove the requirement that all players be on the field for the Anthem.

3. Personnel who choose not to stand for the Anthem may stay in the locker room or in a similar location off the field until after the Anthem has been performed.

4. A club will be fined by the League if its personnel are on the field and do not stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.

5. Each club may develop its own work rules, consistent with the above principles, regarding its personnel who do not stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.

I checked with Damocles, and she was okay with me starting the conversation.  I'm curious what others think about these new rules.  I'll post my opinion in a new post.

Shhh...Damocles is actually a guy. But I won't tell him you said that!  ;D

SHE'S A DUDE!?! #NoJudgement  ;D

If you are in to cozy mysteries with a touch of romance, Her Royal Spyness is a great series. Katherine Kellgren was an amazing reader. Sadly, she passed away recently. I don't know who will read the newest book. She was really young, but read so many fantastic books!

I really liked the Alphabet series. I have not finished it yet. I saw the reader changed for the audiobooks, I wonder why that happened. I tend to get attached to one reader.

I am starting on ER. Don't know if I will make it to the end, that's a lot of episodes.
There are only 15 seasons, 22 eps a season, don't be weak :P

I like it as background noise it's not something I need to focus on. That's my jam.

I guess the other thing is, when a few characters left, and more continued to go, it got harder for me to watch as the show went on. We'll see.

Don't be ashamed about what you are reading. If you enjoy it, then it's all good.
