Could someone please give me a definition of "child board"?

It's basically a board within a board. So you can have a board devoted to one large area of discussion, and then divide it into smaller boards for more specific topics within that subject. So the "General Discussion" board, in addition to its own threads, has two smaller boards specifically for threads related to holidays and funny stuff. And I moved the Venting board so that it's now a smaller board in the "I Need A Hug" section. It helps to keep the forum from getting over-run with too many separate boards.
