Can we do pics of everyone's pets?  Does the board have the bandwidth to support that?

Fingers crossed and hoping!!!  :)

Foster kitten Bertie (aka Roberta Zombie). She was found with a large wound on her head. It’s been cleaned up and is healing nicely.

Hi, all pets! Hi, Ms_Cellany. This is going to be a GREAT thread. Hello, Bertie and gorgeous black cat!

I will try to post my two, Amara and Aphrodite. I think I know how to work the phone camera ... maybe.

Moonsaults has found a stuffed unicorn icepack my mom bought me. And he's been dragging it around...I keep finding it random places. The closet. The bathroom. Then caught him snuggling the other day.

My two brats, Castle and Tribble. Tribble is the white one, and named for my husband's love of Star Trek. Castle is the dark one, and she is named for a cat who looked like her and had the sweetest disposition. Castle is also featured on the Cat Shaming website, as she ate our marriage license two weeks before we got married.

Friday when I came home from work, my youngest son was outside with a kitten who'd followed him home from the park.  Her name is now Mabel, and she'll be going to see my vet on Monday.  Right now, she is living upstairs (where my sons are) while the other five are downstairs.

We'll start on introductions after she's gotten a clean bill of health.  Not really sure of her age .. youngest son doesn't think he's seen adult teeth, which is a hint.

I'm an odd one--I prefer the cat stage of life to the kitten stage.  Youngest son now has a job that he says he will use toward Mabel's care (although I may well have to front it for him, because the spay can't wait until he's saved up, and the job is pretty new).

Vet found adult teeth erupting, and he's putting her age as 4 months, as she's a little small for her age going by the teeth.  She weighs 3.8 pounds, and he doesn't like to spay under 5 pounds.  So we went ahead and scheduled for a month from now, when she'll also be due for her second round of vaccinations.  I think once we get the fleas and worms under control, she'll be at the appropriate weight so we won't need to wait any longer (and hopefully she won't go into heat). FeLV and FIV negative, so that's good news.
